Fort Myers Memorial Day Events:
The City of Fort Myers will be hosting a variety of events this Memorial Day weekend to honor our fallen heroes. On Saturday, May 29th, there will be a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates followed by a patriotic concert. On Sunday, May 30th, the Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers will present a free concert titled “Songs for the Troops” at the Lee County Alliance Church. Fort Myers Memorial Day Events:
The city of Fort Myers will be hosting a variety of events to honor our fallen heroes this Memorial Day weekend. On Saturday, May 29th, there will be a wreath laying ceremony at the Veterans Monument in Centennial Park followed by a 21 gun salute. On Sunday, May 30th, a flag retirement ceremony will be held at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. And on Monday, May 31st, the annual Memorial Day parade will take place downtown starting at 10am. There will also be a special tribute concert at the Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall featuring the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra.
