It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The birds were singing and the flowers were blooming. It was a perfect day for a hike.
Donna and her friends, Karen and Sarah, were excited to start their hike up the trail. They had packed their bags with snacks and water, and they were ready to go.
The first part of the hike was easy. The girls chattered and laughed as they walked along the path. They stopped to take pictures and enjoy the view.
But then, the path got steep. The girls started to get tired. They took a break to rest and drink some water.
After a few minutes, they started walking again. But soon, they realized they were lost. They couldn’t find the path back to the trailhead.
They tried retracing their steps, but it was getting dark and they were getting scared. They decided to build a fire and camp for the night.
In the morning, they used the fire to signal for help. A search-and-rescue team found them safe and sound.
Now, every time Donna looks at her pictures from that day, she remembers how lucky she is to be alive.
After the call ended, everyone was in a state of shock. No one could believe what had just happened. The whole office was silent as they tried to process what they had just seen and heard.
It was clear that something was very wrong with David. His behavior was erratic and he seemed to be in a extremely negative state of mind. His coworkers were worried about him and decided to call his wife to see if she could talk to him.
David’s wife was able to talk to him and she convinced him to come home. She promised that they would talk about whatever was going on and try to figure things out together.
When David got home, he went into his garage and used a power drill to kill himself.
