Memorial Day weekend is right around the corner and that means Stamford will be bustling with events! If you’re looking for something to do, here’s a list of some of the best events happening in Stamford on May 14th.
Memorial Day Ceremony
The Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Park on Sunday, May 14th at 2:00pm. The event will feature a colors presentation, speeches, and a moment of silence to honor the fallen.
Concert in the Park
The Concert in the Park series kicks off on May 14th with a performance by The Stamford Symphony Orchestra. The series offers a wide range of music, from classical to rock, and features both local and national acts. Held in beautiful Stamford Park, the concerts are free and open to the public.
Memorial Day Parade
On Memorial Day, we remember all of the men and women who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. In Stamford, there will be a parade starting at 10:00am on Main Street. The parade will feature local veterans, marching bands, and more. After the parade, there will be a ceremony at Veterans Park.
